The Future of Pharmacy: Direct Customer Solutions.

Adam Keeth, VP of Sales and Strategic Accounts , Direct Customer Solutions

Direct Customer Solutions (DCS) is the future of the pharma distribution industry! DCS allows you to take control of your own distribution through our innovative model and deep industry experience.

DCS’s direct distribution model serves as a “white label solution,” allowing manufactures to self-distribute their medications directly to the dispensing site. Our team works directly to serve you, as well as the patients that depend on their medications.

DCS is registered and functions as a 3PL, which allows us to enable our “no title”. This permits manufacturers to still be in full control of their products. The DCS no-title model eliminates chargebacks as you, the manufacturer, is selling direct, but is powered by DCS.

DCS fully qualifies every pharmacy before sending product. Real time verifications of state licensure, DEA registrations, and 340B eligibility are performed in real time. The orders are taken in various ways including EDI, web portal, or over the phone direct with the purchaser’s dedicated account representative.

Perhaps the largest advantage DCS provides is the service fee reduction, which is significant compared to the traditional wholesaler model. Initial conversations determines the individual needs of each company. We build out the pricing on a “per unit fee” based on the needs of the product.

The fee is inclusive of pick/pack/ship, packing materials, cash management (if required), and storage. Most products shipped arrive in two days with our centralized location in West Tennessee and our proximity to UPS and FedEx national facilities. Expedite options are available.

Our belief is that as a manufacturer, you should own your data. You receive all bill to/ship, outstanding invoices, and inventory for your direct shipments. This can be acquired with our real time PowerBI portal. Customizable reports can also be delivered.

This is all enabled from our state-of-the-art, fully licensed facility. Our facility is first in kind in pharma logistics. Ran by a vertical robotics system, a 120-foot-high bay for pallets and incorporated into a piece pick system allows for hundreds of individual small parcel orders per hour to be packed. The facility can be seen at www.directcustomersolutions.com the media tab.

DCS’s direct distribution model serves as a “white label solution,” allowing manufactures to self-distribute their medications directly to the dispensing site.

All this is made possible by our team, which has over 100 years of experience in the pharma space. As a family owned and operated business, our team is hands on with your business to ensure excellent service that is required for the uniqueness of your products. DCS offers an enhanced logistical process to provide direct to end channel customers for specialty, hospital, and retail pharmacies, with ability to administer 340B, GPO, and WAC contracts. Please reach out to us at communication@directcustomersolutions to find out more how we can help you save money, increase your cash flow, and keep your patients healthy and happy.
