Biotechnology companies no longer view monoclonal antibody development as a simple production service. Antibodies now play a central role in target validation, biomarker discovery, assay development, preclinical research and therapeutic programs. The quality of an antibody can directly influence how quickly a research team moves from an early scientific question to reliable data that supports larger development decisions.
