Leading Lab Casework Manufacturer with the Fastest Turnaround Times
Jonathan Lyons, VP of Sales
Behind every breakthrough, there is a lab, but building one is rarely simple. From navigating safety codes and fragmented design processes to meeting difficult timelines and budgets, organizations face a maze of challenges long before the first experiment begins. Labs today must be safe, flexible, and future ready, yet too often they are constrained by outdated infrastructure and slow delivery cycles. In a field where precision meets pressure, the difference between delay and discovery often comes down to the partner who understands the science, the stakes, and the speed the industry demands.

State of Industry

Modernizing Laboratory Operations with Cloud-Native LIMS

Fremont, CA: Laboratories have moved from isolated instruments and paper records to integrated digital systems. Central to this change is the digital transformation of the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Previously considered a passive tool for sample tracking, the modern cloud-based LIMS now actively coordinates data, hardware, and personnel. By adopting cloud-based architectures, laboratories in pharmaceutical, clinical, and industrial fields are achieving greater operational agility and scientific accuracy.

Choosing Laboratory Solutions That Keep Science Moving

Healthcare facility leaders are under rising pressure to build laboratory environments that can support scientific work without slowing capital projects, complicating compliance or locking teams into layouts that age too quickly. A lab is not simply a room filled with benches and storage. It is a controlled work setting where safety, workflow, utilities, equipment access and future change must be planned together. When those decisions are fragmented across architects, contractors and furniture vendors, the result can be costly redesign, delayed occupancy and spaces that force staff to work around avoidable limitations.

Meeting the Technical Staffing Shortage in the Clinical Laboratory
Michael Baron, Executive Director of Clinical Laboratory Operations

The clinical laboratory is plagued with staffing shortages and most labs are challenged with finding certified technical team members. I started in the clinical laboratory through the less than traditional route. In 1991 after leaving the active U.S Army, I had a biology/chemistry bachelor degree and was uncertain what work opportunities were available. Rockford Memorial Hospital Laboratory offered me a position in their chemistry department. Since I met CLIA 88 requirements to work in a clinical laboratory they put me to work learning how to run chemistry testing in the clinical laboratory.  At the same time, I was given the opportunity for classroom instruction with the chemistry medical director. I had excelled on the bench and in the classroom, and I effortlessly passed the ASCP Clinical Chemistry Certification Examination.
